Maria's 60th Birthday Cruise — June 11-14, 2027
A Note From Maria

Sixty Looks gorgeous on me. Even better with you beside me.

Dear Family and Friends,

My 60th birthday isn't just a birthday. It is sixty years of God's grace, a special time for me to celebrate with people who have shown me friendship and love over the years. It is a time for sunset toast, laughter, memory making moments and three days of ocean air.

Come and sail with me, to give thanks to God for the time he has given me and the opportunity to spend time with you.

I would be honored to have you beside me, out on the water, where the view matches the goodness God has shown me.

Love you and can't wait to see you, Maria.

Traveler Wellness

Health, Mobility & Accessibility Considerations

At Flo Knowles Travel, we want every traveler joining you to feel confident and prepared before we set sail or step off the plane, so please review this before booking.

International destinations, hotels, transportation providers, and cruise lines — including river cruises — operating outside the United States are not required to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Accessibility features may be limited or unavailable.

Many excursions and tours involve walking on uneven or cobblestone terrain, stairs, inclines, extended periods of standing, and boarding smaller boats or vehicles. Due to space constraints, wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, and other mobility devices may not be accommodated on certain transfers, excursions, motor coaches, or river cruise vessels.

If you require mobility assistance, medical accommodations, or any special support, please let me know in advance. Sharing these details early allows me to communicate your needs to my travel partners and the group, so accommodations can be arranged wherever possible. While every request will be submitted to my suppliers, please understand accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

Special Needs Pre-Cruise Forms

Once you've booked, if you require mobility assistance, medical accommodations, or any special support during our sailing, please complete Carnival's Pre-Cruise Special Needs Form directly with the cruise line. This ensures your accommodations are documented and communicated well ahead of departure.

Age Policy

Age is determined by the child’s birth date and cannot be changed to a different group. This is a strict Carnival policy with no exceptions, even to be with a family member. At certain times different age groups are brought together so families can still enjoy activities together.

Open House — Embarkation Day

Held from embarkation until the Safety Briefing. Parents and kids can tour the youth spaces, meet the staff, and learn about the program. Time and location are listed in the HUB App.

Youth Staff

All Youth Staff are college educated in education, child psychology, or youth recreation — or have extensive professional experience with children. They are CPR and basic first aid certified. In a medical emergency, staff will contact the parent/guardian and the ship’s Medical Center immediately.

In Port — Kids On Board

Parents may leave children with Youth Staff while in port. Let staff know if you are on a Carnival excursion or exploring on your own so they can reach you in an emergency.

In Port — Getting Off

Minors 16+ may debark without a parent/guardian. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) in the same travel group.

Force Majeure

Good Questions

FAQ

01Is roommate matching available?
+

No. Roommate matching is not offered for this sailing — please book with a chosen travel companion.

02Can I add someone to my reservation at a later date?
+

Yes, additional guests can be added later. Please note that adding a guest after booking may not reflect the current rate of the cruise, and the prevailing rate at the time of the addition will apply.

03Do I need a passport?
+

A valid passport is strongly recommended. This is a closed-loop cruise, so it is not strictly required — U.S. citizens may sail with a certified birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID in lieu of a passport.

04Can I do a name change?
+

Yes, but a fee is associated with a name change. Please note: the lead passenger on the booking must remain on the reservation to avoid a cancellation fee and having to rebook at the current sailing rate.

05Can I split my monthly payment into bi-weekly payments?
+

Yes. You may split your monthly payment into bi-weekly payments, or make bi-weekly payments to meet your monthly amount. Please email Ms. Flo before your next scheduled payment so your payment schedule can be updated accordingly.

06What if my travel companion decides to cancel?
+

The remaining person will automatically be a single occupancy.

07Can my current health insurance cover and I remove travel insurance?
+

No, U.S. Health insurance does not work overseas and travel insurance also protects your investment if you have to cancel.

08What is the fare for infants and children?
+

Cruise fares are per person which includes children and infants. When traveling with 2 full fare guests, additional guests in the same stateroom pay a discounted cruise fare. Children less than 2 years of age are not required to extend gratuities.

09What is the cruise terminal location?
+

Long Beach Cruise Terminal at the Queen Mary 231 Windsor Way Long Beach, California 90802

10What is the parking information for the cruise terminal?
+

Parking is $26 USD, per day (including embarkation and debarkation day) and must be paid in advance, upon entry. A dedicated agent will be available to process the payment. Cash is not accepted. The location for parking will be available closer to the sail date.

11What documentation is needed when traveling with a minor without both parents?
+

When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.
